Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support and Community Initiatives

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community resources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
