Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community resources.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
