Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

Activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and aggregation centers will be established.
