Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation, institutions, listening centers, and community gathering spaces will be strengthened.
