Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launched with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services, institutions, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
