Cornuda social support project fosters inclusion with €100K funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to implement a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories. Social transport, as well as listening and gathering centers, will also be enhanced.
