Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding from Regional and Community Sources

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces attended the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the project, called initiative, is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport services and institutes, listening centers, and gathering points will be strengthened.
