Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Groups

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation and institutes such as listening centers and gathering places will be enhanced.
