Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the lounge of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Community funds.

Activities and Planned Objectives

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport, institutes, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
