Cornuda Social Support Project Initiated by Local Authorities and Volunteers
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, is primarily aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the priority groups. Additionally, social transportation, institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
