Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Vulnerable Lives

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of senior citizens and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transport and institutions, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
