Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport, listening centers, and community hubs will be enhanced.
