Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces attended the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. In addition, social transport and institutions, listening centers, and social gathering points will be strengthened.
