Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Vulnerable Residents’ Wellbeing
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to implement a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and opportunities for socialization for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
