Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and EU Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be expanded.
