Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be strengthened.
