Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Populations in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially weaker populations. Some representatives of local political and social forces took part in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transport and services such as listening centers and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
