Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.

L’ municipal administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.
