Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Elderly and Disabled
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for encounter and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
L’ municipal administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services between the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
