Cornuda Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total sum allocated for the realization of the ’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
