Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launchs with €100K Funding and Community Support
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
