Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the agreement and participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, with a duration of two years, particularly seeks to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.
Activities and planned objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, community centers, helplines, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
