Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Local Collaboration
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.

Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to support initiatives by providing surveillance services and coordinating the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
