Cornuda Social Welfare Project Boosts Community Inclusion and Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the implementation of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
