Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Institutional Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and people with disabilities residing in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
