Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding and Community Support
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and several volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ’ initiative amounts to approx. one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization for the categories most in need.
Transport services, social transport, and services, along with listening and gathering centers, will also be strengthened.
