Community Support Initiative Aims to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the involved components.
Volunteering associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
