Cornuda Social Assistance Project Launches to Support Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable categories.
Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
