Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of the’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community sources.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, community centers, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
