Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the^’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.

Activities and Expected Objectives

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
