Community Collaboration Boosts Support for Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale lounge in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, lasting two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
