Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Local Partnership
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Goals and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
