Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Regional Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transportation and services such as listening centers and gathering places will also be enhanced.
