Cornuda Social Support Project Empowers Vulnerable Residents

Start of the agreement and participants

On June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering points will also be enhanced.
