Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of entry in June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Associazioni di quartiere (Neighborhood Associations), and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.
