Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteering organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and EU funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.
