Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Aid Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which is scheduled for a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community sources.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, as well as listening and gathering centers, will be enhanced.
Purpose and Social Inclusion
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in the’ organization and management of activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
