Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims particularly to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additional enhancements will be made to social transportation and services, as well as listening centers and gathering spaces.
