Community Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various voluntary organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport and services, as well as listening centers and gathering places, will also be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l’ Amministrazione Comunale has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Voluntary organizations will play a central role in the organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
