Local Collaboration Supports Vulnerable Residents in Cornuda Initiative
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to endorse a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and EU funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social support, listening, and meeting centers will also be strengthened.
