Cornuda Social Initiative 1996: Local Collaboration for Vulnerable Groups
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the date of June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable members of society.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Activities and Planned Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Social transport services, centers for listening and gathering, and support services will also be enhanced.
