Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, an agreement was signed in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to initiate a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Several representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total allocated funds for the ’ initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Planned Activities and Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
