Regional Initiative for Social Inclusion Supporting Elderly and Disabled
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day of June 1996 entries, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale salon in Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most socially disadvantaged people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
Additionally, social transport, services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.

The Role of Institutions and Associations
l Amministrazione Comunale has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different involved components.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in’ organization and in managing activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
