Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of June 1996 admissions, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially disadvantaged.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European community funds.

Activities and Expected Objectives

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
