Cornuda Social Project Launches to Improve Elderly and Disabled Lives

Start of the agreement and participants

On June 1996 admissions day, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for signing a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the categories most in need.
