Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with €100K Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially disadvantaged individuals.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, focuses particularly on improving the quality of life for elderly people and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups.
Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
