Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Social Inclusion and Community Care

Start of the agreement and participants
On the end of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the socially most vulnerable people.
Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which lasts two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total sum allocated for the realization of’ the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and planned goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Social transportation systems and services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be strengthened.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating moments of encounter and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed itself to supporting initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
