Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a two-year duration, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
