Start of the agreement and participants

On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
