Local Partnerships Launch Support Project for Vulnerable Residents

Start of the agreement and participants

On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.

Several representatives of local political and social forces took part in^’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Activities and expected goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.

The role of institutions and associations

^the Municipal Administration has committed to support initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.

Volunteer associations will play a central role in the ^’ organization and management of activities, guaranteeing active participation from the local community.
