Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion with €100K Funding

Beginning of the agreement and participants

On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in support of the most socially vulnerable people.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in^’ the initiative, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which lasts two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

Activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

In addition, social transport services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will be enhanced.
